Escaped inmate taken into custody in Reno |

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) -- An inmate who ran away from the Carson City Jail has been arrested in Reno. Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong says Michael Bass, 23, was picked up in Reno. He was booked into the Washoe County Jail Monday night. At this point, no details regarding the circumstances surrounding Bass's arrest are available. Detectives say early the morning of June 12, 2018, Bass, a work crew inmate, escaped from custody. During the investigation, Rumor Schilling, 23, was identified as a person of interest. The night of the 12th, Schilling and two men, twin brothers, were tracked to a hotel room in the 1300 block of North Carson Street, and arrested.
