DETROIT LAKES Minn. -- Ricardo Gomez was supposed to come back to the security annex building in Detroit Lakes, Saturday night around 5:30 p.m. He was out on a work release program called the Institution Community Work Crew or ICWC. That allows him to leave the annex everyday to work with a supervised crew. A crew that Becker County Sheriff Todd Glander Tells me is usually a privilege to be a part off, "It's not common for someone in this ICWC crew to leave like this Because again it's something that they want, they want to be here."
