BREAKING: Baldwin County inmate recaptured in West Virginia |

Loxley, AL (WKRG) - An inmate serving time in Baldwin County made it to the Eastern Time zone before being recaptured after a weekend escape. The Alabama Department of Corrections sent out a news release Sunday night saying they had recaptured Justin Miles Sheppard after more than 36 hours on the run. The news release says he was apprehended by West Virginia State Police in Princeton West Virginia at about 9:30 Sunday night. Sheppard reportedly escaped from a work site in Orange Beach at around 2 am Saturday morning. He was serving a sentence at the Loxley work release center. He sentenced in 2015 on a charge of 2nd-degree arson out of Marshall County. Read More. |
