| MDOC officers assist shakedown in local jail |

CARROLL COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - Corrections Commissioner Pelicia Hall says the Mississippi Department of Corrections must remain vigilant after a recent shakedown at a north Mississippi jail. The shakedown took place at the Carroll-Montogomery County Regional Correctional Facility. A press release by the MDOC states seven cellphones, three cellphone chargers, two pairs of tennis shoes and one sharpened metal instrument were among the items found. Read More. |
