| Jail officer shoots, wounds escaping inmate in Seattle |

SEATTLE – Seattle Police say a King County corrections officer shot and wounded an inmate who escaped from a Seattle hospital Wednesday morning. Assistant Chief Marc Garth Green said the man had been booked into the King County Jail, accused of killing a woman in Kent last month. Green said King County jail staff took the man to Harborview Medical Center for treatment Wednesday morning. He escaped and the officers gave chase. Read More. |
