Inmate allegedly brings knives into jail |

Maury County Sheriff Bucky Rowland says he is reviewing some aspects of the county jail’s security after three knives made it past security. Kenneth Sneed, 70, an inmate being held at the jail for violating the sex offender registry, smuggled three knives into the jail by hiding the weapons in his wheelchair. One of the knives was a butcher knife. “Part of our job is to be up to date and hold each other accountable in this profession,” Rowland said. “We need not ever let our guard down.
