An inmate at Rikers Island is dead after allegedly being attacked by another prisoner. Sources tell NY1 27-year-old Artemio Rosa approached the 35-year-old victim from behind while he was seated and choked him. Sources say Rosa is a part of the Trinitarios gang, the same group prosecutors believe is responsible for the murder of a Bronx teenager last month. Read More. |
