CHESHIRE — An inmate at Cheshire Correctional Institute faces charges after police said he assaulted another inmate, breaking his nose. Marvin Blunt, 30, was charged by warrant on Thursday with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer. On Feb. 2, state police responded to Cheshire Correctional Institute for a report of an assault. Police were told by prison staff that Blunt assaulted another inmate the previous day, according to an arrest warrant. Read More. |
