An inmate who walked away from a prison work detail Thursday morning was recaptured that evening, according to the Cobb Sheriff’s Office. Christopher Shane Pruitt, 47, who was in jail on probation violation charges, walked off from a parks and recreation clean up detail at Fullers Park along Robinson Road in east Cobb. No deputies were present when Pruitt walked off Thursday morning. He had been mowing grass with a county parks worker, according to Glenn Daniel, spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office. Read More. |
