| Inmate captured after escape from Rapides Detention Center on Saturday |

The Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office says they have captured the inmate who escaped while on laundry detail on Saturday. Deputies say that 40-year-old Dmoine Fitzgerald Ashley was captured without incident by Corrections Security Investigators and deputies assigned to the US Marshal's Violent Offender Task Force. Ashley escaped from laundry work detail on Saturday at the Rapides Parish Detention Center 1 downtown. Read More. |
