OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say an 86-year-old inmate died in a jail in northwestern Washington state. The Olympian reports Louis Trongale of Olympia died early Monday morning inside the Thurston County Jail. Thurston County Coroner Gary Warnock says there are no signs of foul play, but an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday. Authorities say inmates alerted corrections staff about a possible medical emergency inside a bathroom Sunday night. Staff found the man unresponsive but breathing. Read More. |
