COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCIV) — South Carolina Department of Corrections correctional officers and food service employees will see a $1,000 bonus in their paychecks next month, thanks to a budget increase by Gov. Henry McMaster. An additional “retention bonus” of $750 will be given to employees who qualify. It will also be handed out in August.
