A Morgan County Jail inmate who escaped Monday morning while on a work detail was back in custody Wednesday, authorities said, while the search continues for another inmate who left a work detail last week. Jail warden Aaron Dawson said the Inmate Worker Program is still “accomplishing positive things. “The point of the program is to keep or provide (inmates) a solid foundation so when they’re released and re-enter society they’re making positive momentum,” Dawson said. “Unfortunately, these two men made the decisions they did.” Read More. |
