| Inmate stabbed at Lawton Correctional Facility |

LAWTON, OK (KSWO) - An inmate at the Lawton Correctional Facility is seriously injured following a stabbing Saturday evening. Upon police arrival the victim, identified as James Bever, was being transported by ambulance to the Comanche County Memorial Hospital emergency room. According to the Correctional Officer, the incident happened in the shower of one of the housing pods. Correctional staff recovered one weapon used, which was a 9 inch long landscape spike.
