BIG STONE GAP, Va. – A Wallens Ridge State Prison inmate has been indicted in Wise County on a capital murder charge. A grand jury met Wednesday and indicted William A. Sanders, 48, in connection with the death of Donald Gary, 55. “An inmate-on-inmate in-cell attack is suspected,” Virginia Department of Corrections spokeswoman Lisa Kinney said in May. Read More. |
