| Help wanted: DOC holding job fairs inside prisons |

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) For the first time, the Department of Corrections is holding job fairs within its prisons, trying to hire corrections workers in an increasingly competitive job market. Statewide, the DOC says there's a 14-percent vacancy rate for corrections officers and sergeants at adult prisons. Green Bay and Oshkosh Correctional Institutions both have higher rates, with 15 percent of those open in Green Bay and 21 percent of those positions currently open in Oshkosh.
