POLK COUNTY, Minn. (KMSP) - An inmate escaped police custody while in transport Wednesday, but was apprehended again late Wednesday. According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 1:17 p.m., a corrections officer was transporting an inmate when the man overpowered the officer while in Crookston.
