(WHSV) — The Virginia Department of Corrections sent out a memo to their correctional officers across the state yesterday that detailed a bonus for officers that transfer to the correctional center in Augusta County. They are required to stay at the Augusta Correctional Center for three years. If the officer does not stay the full three years, they will have to pay back the bonus —the amount would be dependent on how long they stayed at the facility. Read More. |
