RICHMOND – The Virginia Department of Corrections' Indian Creek Correctional Center in Chesapeake, Virginia was evacuated last night following Governor Ralph Northam’s mandatory evacuation order in advance of Hurricane Florence. All visitation statewide is cancelled for Saturday, September 15, and Sunday, September 16. More information on the VADOC can be found at www.vadoc.virginia.gov. |
