Inmate gets 12-23 years of more prison time for attacking nurse, guard |

YORK – Lakrecia Donnell, 32, who is an inmate at the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women, will be spending 12-23 more years in prison after being convicted for two separate attacks -- one on a prison nurse, another on a guard. She was transported to York County District Court Monday morning for sentencing. Donnell earlier pleaded no contest to first degree assault of an officer, a Class 1D felony that carries a possible sentencing range of 3-50 years in prison; use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, a Class 2 felony that carries a possible sentencing range of 1-50 years in prison; and assault on an officer with bodily fluids, a Class 1 misdemeanor that carries a possible maximum sentence of one year in prison.
