| Police investigating death of 29-year-old inmate of Burnside jail |

A 29-year-old inmate from the Central Nova Correctional Facility has died. According to the Justice Department he was found unresponsive in his cell at about 9:30 a.m. on Monday. A spokeswoman for the department said in a news release that staff immediately began emergency response procedures and called an ambulance. Read More. |
