LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - Nebraska's Department of Corrections submitted their new budget request on Monday, along with their latest strategic plan. The department director, Scott Frakes, submitted the request. Plans include cutting workplace injuries in half. Earlier this month, a Tecumseh prison inmate was assaulted in a violent clash.
