Wyoming Inmate Dies in Newcastle Medical Facility |

Newcastle – Tyler Austin Lane, an inmate in the Wyoming Youthful Offender Program (Boot Camp) died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 27, 2018. He was pronounced dead at the Weston County Health Services medical facility in Newcastle, Wyoming. Lane was sentenced on July 17, 2018, by Albany County District Court Judge Tori R.A. Kricken. He was serving a 14-20 year sentence for Aggravated Homicide by Vehicle. Lane was born on March 6, 1996 in Aurora, Colorado. The matter is under investigation by local law enforcement and the Wyoming Department of Corrections. Per department policy an autopsy has been ordered. The Wyoming Boot Camp Program operates on the grounds of the Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp in Newcastle. |
