| Georgia Department of Corrections names new regional director |

Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) Commissioner Gregory C. Dozier announced the promotion of Cedric Taylor to North Regional Director, effective October 1, 2018. As the North Regional Director, Taylor will oversee the management of 16 facilities throughout the North Georgia Region. “In Taylor’s 26 years with the department he has gained invaluable knowledge and experience,” said Commissioner Gregory C. Dozer. “We are confident that under his leadership the North Region will continue to carry out the Department’s mission of managing safe and secure facilities.” Read More. |
