A Madison Correctional institution officer is in stable condition after suffering severe wounds from being stabbed by an inmate Monday. At about 11 p.m., the officer was stabbed multiple times with a shiv by inmate Ilisiah Williams, according to Florida Department of Corrections officials. Williams was subdued by other staff members before the incident could escalate. The officer was severely injured and required outside medical help. He is in stable condition. Read More. |
