| MDOC files final response in Ojibway Correctional Facility closure injunction |

MARENISCO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) - The Michigan Department of Corrections has filed their final response to Marenisco Townships injunction regarding the Ojibway Correctional Facility closing. In their response, MDOC states that there is no particular method in which they need to consider the impact of the community where the correctional facility will be closing. The response filed by Marenisco Township three days ago took issue with the fact that that local officials were not contacted concerning the possible closure of the Ojibway Correctional Facility, however MDOC claims that they are not required to do so.
