An inmate died Sunday night in a cell in the Santa Clara County main jail in San Jose, sheriff's officials said. The 23-year-old man was found unresponsive at 8:06 p.m. in his cell at the jail at 150 W. Hedding St. Deputies and jail medical staff attempted to save the man's life but he was pronounced dead at 8:21 p.m. by San Jose Fire Department paramedics. Read More. |
