| Angola officers intercept drugs brought into prison |

Corrections officers at the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola intercepted a delivery of 129 grams of marijuana to an inmate last week, resulting in sheriff's deputies arresting a prison employee. Sheriff J. Austin Daniel says deputies booked 24-year-old Jason Thibodeaux of Loreauville on charges of introduction of contraband into a penal institution. |
