BOONVILLE, Mo. - An inmate at Boonville Correctional Center died on Oct. 14 after he was punched in the face by another inmate. According to court documents, George Black got in a physical altercation with another inmate on Oct. 13. During the altercation, Black allegedly punched the other inmate in the face, causing the inmate to fall to the ground and hit his head. The inmate lost consciousness and was pronounced dead at University Hospital in Columbia the next day. Read More. |
