(Colorado Springs, CO) - Colorado Department of Corrections Executive Director Rick Raemisch received the International Corrections and Prison Association (ICPA) Head of Service Award at the ICPA Annual Conference Special Event and Awards Gala. The Award recognizes a head of service that has made an outstanding contribution to advance professional and humane corrections in their country. The award is open to any individual or organization involved in corrections across the world. Raemisch was recognized for the numerous prison reforms implemented in Colorado during his time as Executive Director.
