The Colorado Department of Correction, Division of Adult Parole will be working with local law enforcement agencies to conduct random visits to the homes of registered sex offenders, currently on parole, this Halloween. Offenders being supervised under sex offender directives will be prohibited from participating in Halloween activities. This includes trick-or-treating or answering the door for trick-or-treaters. No decorations are to be displayed at the residence that would attract trick-or-treaters. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has a website where you can type in your address and see where registered sex offenders are living in your community. *Not all registered sex offenders are under community supervision. |
