| Man found dead in Manchester jail |

An official from the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections said a 65-year-old inmate was found dead in a booking area of the Valley Street jail in Manchester. The department says Russell Beard was found unconscious in the booking area of the jail about 9:55 p.m. Friday. Two other inmates were in the holding area as well. WMUR reports Beard was being held by Litchfield police for violation of a protective order, stalking, domestic violence and breach of bail. He had been jailed twice before. Read More. |
