ALBION — The death of an inmate at the state prison at Albion on Friday has been ruled a suicide by the Erie County Coroner's Office. The death of Fred Benjamin Roberts, 23, was announced Monday by State Correctional Institution at Albion Superintendent Michael Clark. Roberts' death was ruled a suicide due to asphyxiation, Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook said Monday. No autopsy will be conducted, Cook said. Read More. |
