| Florida Inmate Dies While Being Treated for Nausea at Jail |

FROSTPROOF, Fla. (AP) — A Florida inmate undergoing treatment for complaints of nausea and stomach cramps has died. The Lakeland Ledger reports the Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating the Monday death of 51-year-old Tyrone Shippee. His cause of death is pending an autopsy and toxicology report. A sheriff's office release says Shippee was arrested last week on a charge of failing to register as a career offender. Read More. |
