A man who, according to a DNA match, got a juvenile pregnant was arrested Monday for lewd and lascivious battery with a prior conviction and contributing to the delinquency or dependency of a child. Stefan Thornton, 25, who is incarcerated in state prison for lewd and lascivious battery on a different juvenile, was interviewed by a Department of Corrections investigator on Jan. 31, 2017, about a claim by the local teenage girl in September 2016 that he had sex with her and that she gave birth to his child. The girl said she was 15 at the time they had sex. Thornton denied having sex with the girl and refused to provide a DNA sample. Read More. |
