COLONIE - An Albany County jail inmate was charged with assault after hitting another inmate in the face and breaking a bone surrounding his eye socket, authorities said. Sheriff's officials said Wednesday that Mahteek Terry, 32, was charged with two counts of assault, a felony. He was arraigned at Colonie Town Court and was sent back to the jail.
