Card games can get pretty ugly at the Dodge County (Neb.) Jail. At about 5:41 p.m. May 29, the jail called the Dodge County Sheriff's Office needing an investigation on criminal mischief by an inmate, said Chief Deputy Tom Tamke. He said Shane Trussell, 19, of Fremont punched a window in the commons area of one of the cell blocks. The value of the broken window is estimated at more than $1,000, Tamke said. "(Trussell) had indicated to a corrections officer that he got upset at a card game," he said. Trussell, already being held on 10 percent of a $20,000 bond for a probation violation, was charged with felony criminal mischief and an additional 10 percent of a $30,000 bond for the criminal mischief charge. As of press time, Trussell remained in the Dodge County Jail and no future court dates were available. |
