Two charged with trying tp smuggle drugs into Dedham jail |

DEDHAM — Investigators from the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office say they’ve foiled an attempt by two men from Quincy and Boston to smuggle $18,000 worth of Suboxone strips into the Norfolk County jail. The Norfolk District Attorney’s office said Tuesday that David Good, 46, of Quincy, and Giovanni Bautista, 25, of Boston, intended to sneak the drug, a narcotic painkiller, into the jail with Good after he was sentenced earlier this month on outstanding larceny charges. After ariving at the jail, he was isolated in a cell and produced the packages the next day, officers said. Good smuggled the drugs using a technique called “body packing,” investigators said, which involves wrapping drugs in wax, latex or another non-digestible substance and swallowing it. Read More. |
