Police: Inmate divulged escape plot in phone call |

A man who was the subject of a weeklong search after allegedly escaping from the Warren County Regional Jail told someone in a recorded phone call of his plans to leave the facility, a detective testified Wednesday. Benjamin Pedigo, 27, of Bowling Green, returned to Warren District Court for a preliminary hearing in a criminal case in which he is charged with second-degree escape. Pedigo is accused of leaving the jail on the night of Feb. 10. He was arrested Feb. 17 in Jamestown, Tenn., and then extradited back to Warren County to face the escape charge. Read More. |
