Escaped inmate with Winchendon ties sighted in Massachusetts |

The Massachusetts and New Hampshire departments of corrections and police are looking to apprehend Jeffrey William Groulx, 45, who was an inmate serving time at a New Hampshire minimum security prison for crimes he was convicted of committing in Massachusetts, according to a Facebook posting by the Massachusetts Department of Correction. He has been placed on escape status and was eligible for release in 2020. Groulx was last seen in the area of 122 Middlesex Road in Tyngsborough on Saturday, March 2, at approximately 3:15 p.m. and left on foot in the direction of Chelmsford/Lowell. He was seen with dark hair (tapered on the sides) and wearing gray sweatpants, a red hooded sweatshirt under a black jacket, black sneakers and a dark (possibly blue) backpack. Read More. |
