Mother of inmate admits to her role in plot to smuggle drugs inside MCI-Cedar Junction state prison |

BOSTON - A 58-year-old woman from Fall River pleaded guilty in federal court to taking part in a conspiracy with her son and another inmate to smuggle drugs inside the state’s maximum security prison in Walpole. Margaret Guillemette admitted to a single count of conspiracy to distribute Suboxone and Alprazolam in U.S. District Court in Boston. Sentencing is scheduled for May 30, and she could be sentenced to up to 10 years, plus probation and a $500,000 fine.
