A 49-year-old drug offender on work release tried to smuggle a folding knife hidden in her bra into Northampton County Prison, authorities report. Audra Maria Maynard, who is serving a nine- to 23-month sentence for possession with intent to deliver drugs, on Wednesday set off the metal detector at the community corrections female reception area off Union Street in Easton as she returned from work at 3:22 a.m., a prison investigator reports.
