The Wilson County (N.C.) district attorney dropped charges against a prison officer who was blamed for an inmate's escape. The district attorney determined Denise Cozart was not at fault, because Travis Allen admitted to assaulting her. Allen was taken to the Wilson County Courthouse in March to face traffic charges when he ran away. |
