Missing prisoner turns himself in at Omaha Correctional Center |

A prisoner who walked away from the Omaha Correctional Center turned himself in Sunday, authorities said. Adrian Rodriguez, 26, returned to the facility at 2323 Ave. J about 8 a.m. Rodriguez was placed on escape status Saturday morning, when he failed to return from work to the facility just south of Eppley Airfield. Rodriguez is serving a three-year sentence for third-degree assault of a peace officer. His tentative release date is scheduled for May 9, 2019. His case will be referred to the Douglas County Attorney’s Office for the determination of additional charges. Read More. |
