| Dick Conner Correctional Center remains locked down after Friday fight |

A state prison in Osage County remained on lockdown Monday after a fight broke out there last week. Dick Conner Correctional Center, a medium-security prison north of Hominy, was put on lockdown after a fight started between inmates in the facility’s gym about 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oklahoma Department of Corrections spokesman Matt Elliott said. No one was injured in the fight, and Elliott said the prison will stay on lockdown so detention officers can investigate what happened and identify those involved. Read More. |
