Longer sentence for inmate who threw urine on officers |

VANCEBORO, N.C. (AP) - A North Carolina prison inmate has received a longer sentence after he was accused of throwing urine on correctional officers. News outlets report Craven County District Attorney Scott Thomas says 36-year-old Lasaun Elliot pleaded guilty to three counts of malicious conduct by prisoner. Thomas says Elliot threw a cup of urine on two officers escorting a nurse through a cell block at Craven Correctional Institution to give medication to several inmates. He said Elliott also exposed himself to a female correctional officer as she was making security rounds. Read More. |
