| Law enforcement searching for escaped Tishomingo County inmate |

IUKA, Miss. (WTVA) - Law enforcement officers are currently searching for an inmate who escaped work detail in Tishomingo County. Stephen Edward Hancock, 35, was last seen Friday on County Road 958 in Tishomingo. He was with a road crew picking up trash off the side of County Road 958, which is above Highway 30 near the state line. According to Tishomingo County Sheriff John Daugherty, corrections officers saw Hancock run into a nearby wooded area. He was wearing jail-issued, orange clothing with "Tishomingo County Jail" printed on the back of the shirt. Read More. |
