| Inmate bound over for trial on felony escape charge |

WARRENSBURG – A prisoner who attempted to escape from custody of the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office on March 6 waived a preliminary hearing in Associate Court and was bound over to Circuit Court for trial on a class D felony escape charge. Bond was continued at $5,000 and arraignment is set for April 17. The charge alleges Douglas W. Bradler, 27, Knob Noster, escaped from the custody of the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office by running from officers while being transferred with other prisoners from a jail transit vehicle to the Johnson County Justice Center, 101 W.
