| South Dakota inmates donate money to Pine Ridge Reservation |

PINE RIDGE, S.D. (KELO) -- Even though they're behind bars, some local prison inmates hope to unlock a better future for kids and teens on the Pine Ridge Reservation. A few times a year, they raise money and choose where to donate it. There aren't many bright spots in the shadows of prison life. When there's an opportunity to grab a piece of the pie, Shawn Mousseau says you don't say no. "Even if it's pizza, it's a big deal. You know?" Mousseau said. The men have bought pizzas. As good as they all taste, the pizza sales are filling a much bigger need. A few dollars from each sale will help a charity. The inmates are donating the money to Pine Ridge.
