A man under lifetime parole for a Kentucky murder was sentenced to 20 years in prison Thursday for robbing a bank in Georgia, according to authorities.

James Gilbert Crick, 63, also agreed to 40 years on probation following the prison time as part of a negotiated plea deal for an October 2017 robbery of a Wells Fargo bank in Whitfield County, Georgia, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Crick was still under lifetime parole from a 1974 murder conviction in Christian County, Kentucky, when he entered the Wells Fargo in Dalton, Georgia, with a pistol, pointed it at two employees and demanded money, according to authorities.

Dalton is in northern Georgia and about 30 miles southeast of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
